Joanna

Joanna is an experienced Occupational Therapist with over two decades of NHS experience, specialising in Equipment Provision, Postural Management, Moving and Handling, Functional Rehabilitation and Blue Badge assessments. Based in Northamptonshire, she provides specialist Occupational Therapy assessments across Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, East Anglia and Bedfordshire, supporting adults with complex physical, neurological, developmental and long-term conditions.

Joanna has experience supporting individuals with neurological conditions, including Parkinson’s disease, Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Huntington’s disease, Functional Neurological Disorder, Multiple System Atrophy and Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, alongside brain and spinal injuries, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, stroke, dementia and orthopaedic conditions.

Joanna is experienced in working within people’s homes to identify functional and environmental barriers and develop practical solutions that promote safety, independence and meaningful participation. She works collaboratively with individuals, families, carers and other professionals to provide holistic, person-centred support tailored to each individual’s needs and goals.
