Maja

Maja is a Specialist Neurological Occupational Therapist providing assessments across Cheshire and Greater Manchester. She specialises in neurological rehabilitation, cognitive assessment and rehabilitation, functional rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, hand therapy, seating and postural management, splinting, equipment provision and housing adaptations. Maja supports adults with a wide range of neurological conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, motor neurone disease, Guillain-Barré syndrome, spinal cord injury, brain tumours, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and complex polytrauma.

Qualifying as an Occupational Therapist in 2012, Maja has over a decade of experience delivering evidence-based rehabilitation across acute hospitals, inpatient neurorehabilitation and community services. Alongside her private practice, she continues to work within an NHS Community Stroke and Neurorehabilitation Team. With a background in nursing, Maja takes a holistic, compassionate and person-centred approach, working closely with individuals and their families to identify barriers to independence and develop tailored rehabilitation programmes that maximise function, confidence and quality of life. She is passionate about empowering people to achieve meaningful goals and supporting them throughout every stage of their rehabilitation journey.
