Having qualified from the University of Northampton in 2005 with a 2:1 degree, Harad has experience spanning acute stroke services, acute medicine, community rehabilitation and palliative care, alongside clinical leadership roles. Following stroke or acquired brain injury, Harad supports individuals to rebuild independence in self-care, mobility, community participation and road safety awareness, as well as develop skills for returning to work. She also provides fatigue management, pain assessment and rehabilitation, coordinating referrals to relevant healthcare professionals where further intervention is required.

In her current NHS Band 7 clinical leadership role, Harad leads service improvement initiatives, audits and staff training to enhance postural management, pressure care, outcome measurement, virtual assessments and caseload management. Her approach is holistic, person-centred and evidence-based, with a focus on maximising independence, safety and participation in everyday life.
