Emma is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist with over two decades of clinical experience. Based across East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent and Surrey, she specialises in functional, vocational and neurological rehabilitation, supporting adults following trauma, injury and long-term health conditions to maximise independence and quality of life. Emma has particular expertise in complex orthopaedic injuries, major trauma and polytrauma, physical rehabilitation, complex hospital discharge, activities of daily living, cognitive rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury, fatigue management and pain management.
Qualifying from Canterbury Christ Church University in 1999, Emma began her career in acute mental health settings, developing a holistic approach to rehabilitation that considers both physical and mental health needs. Since 2005, she has worked across public and private healthcare settings, delivering client-centred, goal-focused rehabilitation programmes designed to optimise function and support meaningful participation in everyday life.
Alongside her clinical practice, Emma has held leadership and clinical specialist rehabilitation roles within the NHS and has contributed to professional education as a guest lecturer at the University of Brighton. She is committed to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice, with a strong focus on empowering individuals to achieve their goals and regain independence.
