BABICM Conference 2026
by Chris Hall, Operations Director (Clinical Services)
We had a fantastic few days at the BABICM Exhibition and Annual Conference, meeting case managers, solicitors and industry colleagues from across the sector.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to share ideas, discuss the challenges facing rehabilitation services, and explore how innovation can help improve outcomes for clients. There was a real sense of collaboration throughout the conference, with plenty of insightful conversations about quality, efficiency and the future of case management.
One of the highlights for our team was the positive feedback we received about the Practice Plus Customer Portal. Case managers told us how valuable it is to have instant access to client information, appointment updates and reporting in one place, helping them save time and stay informed throughout the rehabilitation journey. If you'd like to learn more about how the portal is supporting case managers, you can read more about it here.
There was also significant interest in our automated third-party terms process. Designed to simplify situations where funding approval is required from a third party, the system enables terms to be agreed seamlessly between the referring case manager and the funding party within our online referral process. The enthusiasm we heard reinforced the importance of reducing administrative burden and creating smoother pathways for everyone involved. You can find out more about how the process works and the benefits it offers here.
Away from the exhibition hall, the Annual Conference Dinner was a particular highlight. It was a great opportunity to continue conversations with colleagues and peers in a more relaxed setting... and the magician's performance certainly left many of us wondering how he pulled off some of his tricks.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to visit our stand and speak with the team. We came away with valuable insights, exciting opportunities and plenty of ideas for the future. And yes, the chocolates proved just as popular as ever, a welcome boost to energy levels throughout the event!
